Patrick Blanc, a French botanist, has created his tallest vertical garden at a residential development in Sydney. The garden wall uses 4,528 native Australian plants that are fed by a grey-water dripper-irrigation system.
Vertical gardens can offer a reduction in energy consumption through thermal insulation & cut down on greenhouse gas emissions.
