• Open Sydney presented by Sydney Living Museuems. This event every year allows Sydneysiders to visit 40 of the city's most significant buildings and spaces across the CBD. My next stop was the old AMP building's roof overlooking Sydney Harbour. The views are breathtaking and offer a stunning panorama of one of Australia's most iconic landmarks. Looking eastwards and capturing the Opera House and The Bennelong Apartments in the same frame as the Harbour Bridge to the west is what is so unique about this location. The timing was great as a Crusie Ship was docked next to The Rocks, while several Ferries crisscross the waterstaking passengers to different destinations. I felt I had captured Australia's most iconic landmarks from the best location.

 • Sunset at Dudley Page Reserve, Dover Heights, Sydney.Great views from this park of the Sydney Skyline at sunset. One day I rushed home from a corporate shoot so I could take my border collie out for a walk.
As I was driving back from a well-known dog park with my beautiful border collie, Ollie, I was blown away by this brilliant glowing sunset
that was starting to take shape.
I knew I only had 5 minutes or so before it would be all over.
My cameras and tripod were still in the car from the shoot I had done.

My instinct from my newspaper days from London set in, and I just had to capture this magic moment in time.
Quickly I parked the car, grabbed my camera, tripod, and lens, as well as my border collie, and rushed to the scene.
Time was not on my side, this photo would be a one-off and I had to capture it now. Putting up my tripod delayed me, but I did not want to capture movement due to low light and also wanted to get the best quality
possible for a large canvas print.
Once I finally had attached my camera to the tripod, adjusted it, set the exposure to manual mode, and looked through the viewfinder,
I could not believe it.

 • Sunset at Dudley Page Reserve, Dover Heights, Sydney. This location is renowned for spectacular views of the Sydney Skyline at sunset.
